Versions 1.0 & 2.0

First published in 2003, BrucePages has since gone through many changes.
Beginning with a collection of photographs and drawings, I wanted a place to put them where they could be viewed and shared with others. With a new computer (Win 98) and a hands on approach, I started learning what it took to create a website, at the same time learning what a computer could create. It was very basic html, copy and paste mostly, with simple shapes and gradients created in photoshop.
Images soon evolved into animations, and animations into 3D models.

I was no longer interested in creating a flat and static website, I wanted to create a 3D website interface that was simple to understand and intuitive navigate through. With help from my friend (Kevin Herrera) I was able to design, and he was able to code, a very ambitious Flash based website.

Version 5.0

Created early 2014
After years of attempted redesigns and rewritten scripts, HTML 5 finally killed Flash. I had spent too much time laying the foundation and thinking about how I wanted to display my content, that I never uploaded any of it.

Starting over, I wanted to focus on the content and not worry about how it was displayed.
Squarespace became the solution. It was easy, allowed some creative flexibility, and more importantly it was a solid foundation.
One I hope to continue to build upon.
