Utilizing recycled wood from IKEA parts, I went about putting together two benches, one single, the other double. They were placed at their final destination a top a hill overlooking Los Angeles, where they slowly fell apart. I later tried elaborating on the design and use of rope as the means of holding it together and keeping it flexible. Unfortunately, I was never able to keep it rigid enough to keep it from collapsing.
